Want to know the secret to losing weight and keeping it off? 🤫 The thing is, it’s not a secret. It’s black & white - burn more calories than you eat. That’s it 🤷🏼♀️ Every diet you know of, and have tried, work by putting people into that calorie deficit. ▪️Keto - calorie deficit by eliminating (the tastiest) food group 👎🏼 ▪️SW - calorie deficit by “synning” and limiting calorie dense foods 👎🏼 ▪️WW - same as above with points ▪️Juice diets - HUGE calorie deficit because HELLO you’re not eating 👎🏼 ▪️Cabbage Soup diet - Jesus can we stop. You get the point. The problem with all the above? They’re restrictive. They do not allow much (if any) room to enjoy the balanced life we all should. You start to decline invites out, scared that you won’t be able to find anything on the menu to fit into your days points, or the other end of the scale, you end up binging because you want the foods you’ve been told you cannot have. IT’S TIME TO STOP. DITCH THE DIET. Learn to eat with awareness.
